These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of araniabali.com and to the custom woodworking services provided by Arania Bali. Where a written quotation or project agreement signed by both parties says something different, that document takes priority for that project.

1. Who we are

Arania Bali (“Arania”, “we”, “us”) is a custom interior and exterior woodworking studio located at Jl. Poh Gading, Jimbaran, Kuta Selatan, Bali 80361, Indonesia.

2. Using our website

The content on this website is for general information about our work and services. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but it does not form an offer or a contract. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or copy its content for commercial use without our permission.

3. Intellectual property

All text, photographs, logos and design elements on this website belong to Arania Bali unless stated otherwise. Shop drawings, renderings and designs we create for your project remain our intellectual property until the project has been paid in full; after that, you may use them for the purpose of that project. Drawings and materials you provide remain yours, and you confirm you have the right to share them with us.

4. Quotations

Quotations are based on the drawings, specifications and information available at the time. Each quotation states its validity period, currency, scope and payment schedule. Changes to scope, materials, dimensions or finishes may require a revised quotation.

5. Orders and payment

A project is confirmed when you accept our quotation in writing and the first payment stated in the quotation has been received. Payments are due according to the schedule in the quotation. We may pause production or delivery while payments are overdue. Ownership of finished pieces passes to you once full payment has been received.

6. Design approval and changes

Production starts only after you approve the final shop drawings, renderings, material specifications or samples in writing. Changes requested after approval may affect the price and the timeline, and we will confirm any such impact with you before proceeding.

7. Materials and natural variation

We work with natural timber sourced in line with Indonesia’s timber legality system (SVLK). Wood naturally varies in grain, colour, knots and texture, and it moves slightly with changes in humidity and temperature. These characteristics are part of the material and are not considered defects. Samples and photographs show the type of material, not an exact match.

8. Timelines

Timelines in our quotations are estimates that depend on timely approvals, payments, site readiness and the availability of materials. We will keep you informed and let you know promptly if a delay is expected. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, supply disruptions, government actions or site delays caused by others.

9. Delivery and installation

Where delivery or installation is included, you are responsible for providing safe access to the site and making sure the site is ready as agreed, including finished walls, floors, power and coordination with other trades. Additional visits or waiting time caused by an unready site may be charged.

10. Inspection and handover

Please inspect your pieces at delivery or handover and let us know about any visible issue within the period stated in your quotation. We will work with you to resolve confirmed workmanship issues.

11. Warranty

Our workmanship warranty, including its duration, is set out in your quotation or project agreement. It does not cover damage from misuse, improper care or cleaning, exposure to conditions the piece was not specified for, normal wear, natural timber movement, or alterations and repairs carried out by others.

12. Cancellation

If you cancel a confirmed project, costs already incurred, including design work, purchased materials and production completed up to the cancellation date, are payable and non-refundable. Any refund of payments made will be handled as set out in your quotation.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Indonesian law, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for the affected item or service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of income or business interruption.

14. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We will always try to resolve any disagreement with you directly and in good faith first. If that is not possible, the dispute will be brought before the competent district court in Bali.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to new enquiries and projects from the date shown at the top.
